Is it mental to go to Dubai early September temperature-wise?

We have the opportunity to have a few days in Dubai on our way back to the UK from NZ, but having been in the "cool" season, which was v warm, I'm just wondering what the heat's like in early September. DC still talk about our last stopover there, the swimming pools and the camels, but that was in Feb. Can anyone advise please?

Average high in September is 37 degrees and could be hotter if it's early september - is that too hot for you?

Can you not stop in Singapore etc?

Depends - is it a dry heat or humid? We're stopping in Asia on the way out so want a different stopover on the way back. However if temp unbearable will stop elsewhere.

It's a dry heat, which does make it easier- though still bloody hot.

As I live here, I actually find it difficult to quantify the heat (iyswim)
My brother was crackers enough to come on his honeymoon here in August last year and it was obviously manageable. whilst ridiculously hot and humid, the pools will be chilled.
