Help - Oct half term idea - similar to Pine cliffs in algarve?

Hi
We're looking to book Oct half term hols and looking for something similar to pine cliffs in the algarve

• good or chances of good Oct weather
• self catering with lots of facilites
• tennis
• swimming
• near the beach (if not on the beach!)

would really welcome any ideas before we give up and book the same thing again

Am bumping this for you as really interested in any replies myself. You will have to go a long way to guarantee good weather in October though...
