may half term - hot and cheap?

Can anyone recommend a holiday in may half term that has good weather but doesn't cost too much for a family of 4??

Canary Islands? Balearics might be ok but maybe not incredibly warm ...

We have just booked los gigantes spa and hotel in tenerife, its 4/5 AI, £1000 for 3 of us, we booked direct with flyglobespan for our flights/car hire, and then with lowcostbeds for the hotel, although if you book direct with the hotel you get free taxi transfers if you stay 7 nights and I think kids under 12 may* be free.

We are there 26th May till 2nd June. How old is your little one?
It looks like a great hotel-really looking forward to it.

He'll be 2 while we are out there, yeah we are really looking forward to it too, it really does look like a great all rounder, spa, loads for kids, good food etc etc.

Will report back when we return eh?

Got back last night - I have to say without a doubt it is the nicest hotel I have ever been to. Its only been open a year, everything is brand new, immaculate. We arrived into reception, a golf buggy arrived to take us and our luggage to our suit. Everything we had asked for was there (cot etc), the pools are so clean, plenty of sunbeds all with mattresses, free towel hire so no need for beach towels, 5 lovely restuarants with different themes every night, self service drinks, friendly staff, they even left a present in the room for our son as it was his birthday while we were there.

Utterly fantastic, cannot fault it in any way. Will definately be back!
