Sun/beach tent for toddler in Vendee...any recommendations?

We are heading in August to a Eurocamp site in the Vendee for 9 days...

Anybody done that kind of hol with a toddler? Did you take a sun protection tent/windbreak thingy?

To be honest I can't see her staying still in one for long, so maybe just factor 50 and a sunsuit thing would do?? Although the wind maybe comes sweeping down those deep beaches blowing sand everywhere...?

Any tips really welcome...

I bought one for our holiday last year. Dd sat in it for about thirty seconds. They do get quite warm, as well.

I'll never forget dh trying to collapse it, it was one of the funniest things I have ever seen, culminating in him kicking it around the poolside.

Slap on the factor 50 and make sure you get under an umbrella, imo.
