When we went it rained pretty much the whole time, until it was time to come home, that was a glorious day!
I'd agree with Cherry we didn't find anything else at all.

Sandown Pier? 2p machines, bowling and a really good crazy golf which has sounds effects, kind of dinosaur theme.

Ryde bowling or Ice Skating?

Dinosaur Isle in Sandown (hands on stuff, cheap entry, allow couple of hours at most though for visit)

IOW Steam Railway www.iwsteamrailway.co.uk/

Amazon World is fab www.amazonworld.co.uk/index.html

Do you have tescos vouchers? You can use them in Amazon World, Steam Railway and I think Dinosaur Isle..

IOW Pearl has a Build a Bear type thing..

SomeMightSay · 23/03/2009 18:56

We went to IOW Pearl, we picked an oyster and I had the pearl set in a necklace, is lovely.

We went last week.

Amazon world was really fantastic DH aand I loved it even more than the DDs.

There isn't much open at the moment.

We went to brickfields for DD1 who is horse mad. Its not great to be honest but the staff went out of their way to make it good. (Personal tour, met every animal in the place - lots of stroking etc - fantastic for DD)

Not sure that the build a bear at IOW pearl is open yet - def phone ahead.

Fingers crossed you'll have lovely weather -we did and had a lovely break

Fort Victoria has several things, all indoors, though you have to go outside to get between them. The model trains are fun - entry gets you a tub of "coins" which operate some animated parts of the layout.

JeMenFous · 23/03/2009 20:17

Put your umbrella up

AMumInScotland · 23/03/2009 20:22

Brading waxworks is also indoors

DesperateHousewifeToo · 23/03/2009 20:25

Not sure how eco-friendly this is but good fun

The Needles 'coloured sand'.

Have just checked with DH and he says -

Newport now has a multiplex cinema with food options
Dinosaur Island museum in Sandown
Sandown pier with multi-level crazy golf
Ice-rink and tenpin bowling on Ryde seafront
Waltzing waters at Ryde "airport"
