mondeo owners is the back seat wide enough for 2 adults and high back booster?

on a very long journey from south coast to glasgow?

does the middle of the seat have that annoying hump that makes the booster seat wobbly?

trying to decide whether to rent a mondeo or splash out and rent something bigger

We have 3 kids a 2002 Mondeo hatchback and a 2004 mondeo estate. In both cars I can fit one forward facing car seat on one side, a booster seat(armless) on the other and a further booster seat in the middle(armless) if required.

Last year went to Scotland and older kids started fighting so for last hour sat DD (then 7yrs) in front and I managed to squeeze in between DS1(then 5yrs) and DS2 (then 1yr). A tad uncomfortable but manageable at a push.

Not sure if later models have hump but our cars don't

I am presuming it'll be a fairly new one as it'll be a rental.
