where to go any ideas please

Hi we are looking for somewhere an hour from bristol in any direction that is good for a day out, where there is something for a four year old to enjoy what ever the weather and we can take our own food .I am asking for help as any palce we look at seems not to open until April!any ideas ?

Longleat is open on weekends only at the moment.
Loads to do there-safari park, house, small animal zoo, grounds etc.
We took our own food. You could still do safari park, house etc in the rain, I guess.
Iirc, they do a 'passport' ticket for all the attractions, but it is valid until the end of the season. So if you don't manage to see all of the attractions, you can go back another day with the same ticket.

Cardiff. Loads to do. Techniquest. St Fagans.

Thanks we did Techniquest last year and it was great ,will look into longleat.
