Best West End shows for 6yo girl?

Thought I might book something for the summer holidays. Saving Lion King for when DD2's old enough to appreciate it. What else? Would Billy Elliot be suitable? Joseph? Oliver? Stomp?

Is there anything DD2 (who'll be nearly 4) would also enjoy?

(We do the Polka, Unicorn etc regularly but haven't done West End with them yet.)

Yes, but you might see a show not previously considered.

TheatreMonkey is a good site for comparing seats etc and reading reviews.

I sign up fo all theatre mailings. I bought a £10 Oystercard last year as got BOGOFF theatre tickets with it - and cheaper tubes whilst in London! There are lots of offers of kids for £1 etc that you get emailed about - which is the only time we go!

DD (now 18) is passionate about anything musical. We took her to Riverdance aged 5 which was great. She has seen quite a few shows but Les Mis & Wicked are her favourites.

Yep I'm a bit of a theatremonkey addict too I get a lot of the mailings also but don't always have time to read them... Haven't had any family-specific ones till now tho, except from children's theatres like the Polka. Have just signed up to the Official London Theatre Guide family bulletin so will hopefully get updates on Kids Week, so thanks for that. Are there any other kids-focused ones? Where do you mainly get your £1 offers from?

I subscribe to:

Kids Week (Kids free) for Summer
Get into London Theatre (Kids free) for New Year
Train Travel 2 for 1 offers - Great Western - most holidays
Ticketmaster - random
Last Minute .com - random
Oyster card
Money Saving Expert
and some other theatre ones that I can't remember until I next get a mail (sorry)

and just keep googling the show you want

Wow thanks milliways! I'll probably end up unsubscribing from some as I get irritated by too much in my inbox but will give them all a go.

Let me know if anything else pops up!
