We're going to book our holiday this weekend.
Thought I'd ask if anyone knew of any cheap deals, etc. before doing so.
We need to hire a large-ish car in UK to drive to continent.
Then we want to cross over to France from Dover.
Anyone know of good deals which can be booked over internet?

Also, it's the first time we'll be camping two year old DD, so we're going to book a campsite in advance as opposed to winging it as we did in old days.
Anyone recommend a campsite in Normandy?

TIA

check with the car hire firm that you are able to drive abroad.I've got a feeling it is quite complicated, insurance etc.

Can I hijack and ask about driving in France as well?

it sounds complicated, what's this giving way from the right business?
