Recommendations for a decent hotel in Birmingham (taking the dc)

Want a City Centre Location.

Used to decent hotels so looking for 5, but 4 would be okay as long as they have a good 'service ethic'

Dc are nearly 5 and 6.5

Any recommendations?

Hotel Du Vin...nice art nouveau-style chain hotel. Never been there with kids but think it would be quite child-friendly.

Was just going to say Hotel Du Vin. Malmaison is nice as well. They're probably the best two in the city centre

How about a swanky serviced 2 bed penthouse apartment of the Rotunda? You won't get more central than that

Thanks for these suggestions - I was wondering about Hotel du Vin actually...

Interesting suggestion selby - I shall certainly consider that in future (not this time though, since Granny and Grandad are coming to on this occasion)
