Small Italian villa recommendations for May

Can anyone recommend a small 'villa' (i.e. detached) with 2 bedrooms anywhere in Italy near a 'cheap' Ryanair airport?

DH and I hope to take our 10 month old in May for a weeks break. I'm not bothered about swimming pools, etc. but we would need to be near a town so that we can have a big meal at lunchtimes and hole up in the villa in the evening (DS likes his sleep and we don't want to mess this up!) and some kind of garden would be nice to have dinner outside, read books in the early evening...

I have started to look on the internet but there are so many different companies offering villas and it is hard to find small places. It would be great if any mumsnetters knew that perfect place.

Check out www.rentvillas.com and www.summerinitaly.com. Both sites have helpful people running them. I don't know where Ryanair flies, but I have stayed all over Italy, and the most beautiful place, IMHO, is Positano, although there are lots of steps everywhere - difficult with a stroller. If you don't want to deal with the steps, you can stay anywhere on the Amalfi Coast, which is absolutely gorgeous. Enjoy! I'm so envious. . . .

Thanks for your responses. I've only just checked again (after a weekend of nothing ) so I was really pleased to see some ideas . I was starting to get a bit bogged down on the net and my enthusiasm was starting to wane.

Elfine - I will keep your address and contact you some other time. We want to get away in May and avoid the school holidays and DH says he needs a holiday soonest.

Hadn't considered the Amalfi coast so will check out the companies you recommend, chiarasmom.

Will be in touch, KS. If it's not too expensive a choice of bedrooms would be fab!

www.igluvillas.com has a great selection and a specific section on childcare / family friendly villas which is really helpful. Great prices too, they have some Tuscany villas in May for £200 - we are looking for July though.
