DH and I can't take a proper summer holiday this year so we're thinking of a long weekend somewhere so we at least get some time just to lie around soaking up the sun and drinking cocktails. Because we'll probably only be able to take two days holiday plus a weekend, we'd like to go somewhere that doesn't involve complicated travel arrangements etc - ie fly in somewhere, take a short taxi ride, check into hotel/apartment and go straight to beach. Ditto, we don't want to fly too far.
Any suggestions gratefully received. Ideally somewhere that won't cost an arm and a leg either.
