My sister and 2 cousins are planning their first holiday by themselves - where would you recommend?

They want sun, sand and clubs/ pubs - thinking greece or somewhere like that? I have no idea where to start, thanks!

Croatia, Laganas (zante), Malia (crete), Kardamena (kos), Playa las americas (tenerife), Palma (mallorca) or Sunny beach (bulgaria).

Avoid Magaluf, Benidorm, Turkey imo they just aren't very nice places.

Avoid Gran Canaria, Cyprus, Ibiza, Portugal (everything's mega expensive when you get there)

Saying that they might want to avoid anywhere with the Euro cos of how crap the conversion rate is atm. Everything works out really expensive.

Lagos in portugal is fairly harmless (although thinking about it was aleast 6 years ago). Full of aussies and south africans and the clubs aren't too massive - cool bars, great beaches and cheap accomodation. Maybe do some checks on tripadvisor.com.

you fly to Faro and then get the train - fun adventure!

Are they fairly streetwise? If so, they'll still need to be careful in somewhere like Kardamena. If not, you should encourage them to avoid such places and look for somewhere more family orientated.
