Help! Eating near Victoria

Want to meet my Mum, bro and kids on Mothering Sunday at Victoria, so none of us have to drive. Where can we go? 5 DC ages 2-13, Mum can't walk very far. Bound to be Pizza Express etc nearby, but anywhere for the kids to play in that area?

Pizza Express and Ask are both on Victoria St

Not much near Victoria TBH and I don't know nice restaurants only chains round there.

Have you considered going a bit further? you could catch a 148 bus or a District line train to Bayswater and go to the Princess of Wales Memorial playground.

You're going to say it's too far for your mum but I thought I'd chuck the idea in.

Alternatively you're looking at St James' Park which is lovely but not exactly just round the corner. Have a look on streetmap. It has pelicans, playground etc.

If you do go to Pizza Express make sure you print off one of their 2-4-1 vouchers

Thank you so much - have been to the Diana playground lots and it's great. Maybe I'll splash out on a cab for Mum as it's Mother's Day!

How about the Vincent Rooms?

For eating the only nice place I know is Balls Brothers but I used to frequent it pre-kids so have no idea what it's like for them. Certainly nowhere to play.
