calling all mums, would you or have you booked a weeks B&B holiday in France?

trying to gauge families preferences on B&B V Gites.

would you book a family holiday in a B&B with evening meal options (so own room en-suite in a converted barn with a heated pool, 3 living rooms so you could get your own space about £90 a night) in France. would you book if the owners have a child of their own - but could also qualified childcare services so you could take some time out?

any feedback and thoughts are much appreciated.

Where would you putthe kids though? would you have to share a room with them?

Depends on what you want from your holiday - and the age of your children. We've just booked our 1st holiday abroad for 10 years (and for 2 weeks...) and gone for a gite with pool. Don't think I'd be comfy with B&B type holiday as I'm not sure I'd be able to relax, althought what you're suggesting does sound quite roomy...

I would love someone to cater for me, I am sick of self-catering...
