Seems to be so much round there to do, and we are only there for three days. Anyone been with the children?

Is Keukenhof worth a visit? The site makes it look beautiful but we have such little time there and is it worth the admission prices?

Also, has anyone been to the Kinderkoofkafe? It sounds really good, but the website is all in dutch and I can't get much info from it.

Take a trip on a canal tourist boat, walk around the vondel park, go to the science museum (NeMo), zoo (although I lived there before kids so have never been). The official tourist site is here. I have linked to the family page.

And here is some stuff about the KinderkookKafe in English. If you want to know more I would email them or call them. They will speak English.

We took dd when she was 4 (she is now 10) and she loved Vondel Park and the Zoo.

When we were there we had to hunt for a bucket and spade as there is/was lots of sand in the childrens play area. Dd made friends in the park with a little girl who's mother was English and she took us to a little shop near their home to get one as we couldn't find any in the City Centre!
