I though Al Fresco accommodation was very good. Exactly as it looked in brochure. Very clean. Apparently their stock is much newer than competitors because they entered the market later.

tonysoprano - the pinecliffs website i admit is not particularly helpful, i admit. There are two bits to it -- the first is the sheraton pine cliffs hotel which is on the site, and the second bit is the 2-3 bedroom townhouses peppered around the estate which is rented out. in my view, it is very reasonable for the quality of the facilities. bearing in mind we go in Oct half term, the sun is still blazing, the beach is absolutely wonderful (accesssed only by guests of pinecliffs), good food, and if you have the apt, you can cook yourself or you can still have room service if you want. Swimming pools (i think there are 5 or 6 outdoor ones with 1 heated and 1 indoor one).
the best way is really to call them - as the website is pretty pathetic
