holiday in Cavtat, Croatia

Has anyone been? Any recommendations? I've booked flights to Dubrovnik, and Cavtat looks like a really lovely place, quieter but with easy access to Dubrovnik.

Would welcome any advice or opinions.

We're going without any DCs... oh my word.

Of no help whatsoever here, but am interested in any replies so am bumping for you. The reviews of Cavtat always seem to be positive from memory - I'm interested in going next year

i went about 20 years ago with my parents, when it was still called yugoslavia, i was about 10 so cant remember a lot about it, but i do remember it was a lovely really pretty little town with only a couple of hotels but i expect it will have grown a lot since then. It had a pebbly beach but we didnt mind, and we went swimming in the sea lots. You can go on a boat to dubovnik which is definitley worth a visit, in fact i would quite like to go back- Im sure you will love it.

Hope there will be someone else about that has been more recently than me!

Ha, I could have written flipflopper's post, except it must have been about 28 years ago, I went there. I remember going to Cavtat by boat and it being quaint.
