Best airlines to Cyprus from Luton, Stansted or Heathrow

I don't want to fly at hideous hours of the day and would like a decent amount of space.

Are Cyprus Airways or Monarch Scheduled (with extra legroom seats!) any good?

I reccommend having a read of www.airlinequality.com where people leave reviews of their flights.

I personally wouldn't choose CY from Heathrow (I try and avoid Heathrow where possible due to traffic, cost of parking etc) so would either choose MON from Luton or CY from Stansted. Are they much the same in terms of price and ease of getting to the airport?

We fly to Cyprus a lot, and have found Monarch to be the best of the reasonably-priced bunch (BA too expensive for us). Extra legroom seats are good - we usually go for them. Their website works well & it's easy to pick and choose your flights & you can reserve your seats when you book your tickets if you want to.

On the flights we've been on (scheduled flights from Manchester and Luton) food is not included in the flight price - you'll be offered a menu when you board & can choose a hot meal or they have snacks, but you have to pay on board for them.

Also, take your own headphones if you have an airline adapter for them as you have to pay for those too.

Monarch are fine though - you have to pay for nearly everything as with all low-cost airlines, but they are not in-your-face about it and tend to leave you alone to get on with the flight (unlike other airlines where we've been bombarded with sales pitches for the whole 5 hours)

Sounds like Monarch with extra legroom seats is the best bet then?
