is there an easy way to sterilise stuff in a hotel room?

i use to use an ice cream tub or popcorn bucket - empty of course! and milton tablets or liquid if not abroad

Do you bring washing-up liquid and bottle brush? Our trip to London is sounding more and more like a military operation - getting second thoughts!

yes but put washing up liquid in a small travel bottle, how old is your little one?

It worked well for us as DS was only having 2 bottles a day at this point, not sure how handy it would be if they needed more than that

Baby is 7 months old. only be away for 2 nights max but thought of planes and no kitchen freaking me out!

woofles, our LO is 7 months and we stopped sterilising about 3 weeks ago we just make sure the bottles are thoroughly washed with hot soapy water and that we only put his milk in them immediatly before we feed him.

the easiest thing to use are boots disposable sterilising bags - they come in a box of 7 individually sealed bags, each contains a sterilising tablet and then you just fill to the line with water and hang them off a tap/door handle/whatever. Each bag of water lasts 24 hours.

Yes def not so panicky as would be with little one. HAve been making up two formula feeds a day with cooled boiled water, to save time trying to cool hot water, now found out that this is harmful as doesn't kill and potential bugs in formula. How do you make up formula if away from home for day?
