Don't know if there is anything on, but Laundrylover just had a lovely time staying here! and has recommended it to me, so its on my shortlist for places to go when I have time and money.

failing that I always like a premier inn.

Legoland at Windsor is fantastic. Lots to do for 4 year olds, and there's Windsor castle nearby too.
