well done! Don't bother with their breakfasts, there are so many cafes etc nearby. Cheaper!
We really liked a restaurant opposite. If you stand outside the hotel, look over the canal, and it's off to the left, it did amazing pizzas and the hotel recommend it, it's in their folder in the rooms. Really friendly authentic restaurant.
If going to Ann Frank, you can walk there from the hotel, but go before breakfast, get there as soon as it opens, as they have such long queues, then we had breakfast in a nearby bagel/coffee place afterwards.
From Anne Frank, we got on boat to the Van Gogh Museum, which is fantastic.
Great views from the rooftop of the science museum NEMO near the station. You can have a coffee up there.
The hotel is in a great location to just wander and wander. Hope you have a great time.
