Anyone been on the ferry from Hull to any centreparc in Holland/Belgium.Denmark/Gerrmany etc. Whjere did you go? What is it like? Is there a company that books both ferry and break?

we flew from birmingham to amsterdam and then went on the train. was much easier and quicker than driving

Eurocamps will do ferry and break, and they have camps in Holland and Germany, not sure about Denamrk and Belgium.

We've book to go at Easter, but decided to book the travel seperately. It actually looks quicker for us to travel from Berkshire to Holland via eurotunnel rather than the long ferry which takes 6 hours and only sales 2/3 times a day. So our plan is to drive to Antwerp, spend most of the day there, then arrive at camp in Holland. We're staying in Holland for three days then driving to Germany, a camp in between Hamburg and Hannover and staying there for 7 days. I've never done eurcamp before but really like the idea that we can tour a bit.

The ferry from Hull is expensive. It depends where you live really.

Calais to Holland/Belgium is not a huge drive, I think Brussels to Calais is around 2 hours? The ferry is much cheaper.

The ferry is fine, the ferries on the Rotterdam route are nicer and the journey is shorter.

just noticed your comment about flying to amseterdam and then getting train. Were you camping - if so did you find it hard without a car? We are thinking of going to Holland - Canvas campsite but thought might be fun to fly for a change as we have gone over to France a lot by ferry the last few years.

we went to center parcs - so everything was there. We stayed 7 days then came home. We (dh ds(then 6) and I enjoyed it. and CP euro is sooo much cheaper than Uk even with the flights

Family flew, I drove the car Harwich-Hook - more room for stuff in car (inc bikes), kids not put through long journey, Ryanair cheaper than extra passengers on ferry.
