Walking with dinosaurs - is it worth the money

I've been looking to take the DTs (5) to see the Walking with Dinosaurs but am that there are no discounts for children making it v expensive day out. Cheapest I can see are £30 each.

Anyone seen it and think its worth the money?

Its a spin off from the BBC series - it looks really amazing but sooo much money.

How much is it? I can't seem to find the price

£30 a ticket with no discount for children so with rip of booking fees it would be £150 ish.

It is a stupid amount of money for an afternoon out isn't?

It's an amazing one off event. If your dts are dinosaur mad and you can part with the £ then go for it.

I haven't seen it myself, but will be. I had a friend working on it in oz and us, and he's very critical of all shows including ones he's in, and he says it's brilliant.

More likely the Late night Aussies or those Stateside will be able to comment on this.

Found this review hth.

Thanks - and thanks for the review link.

It would be a huge chunk of our holiday treat budget and DH says that we could have two weekends away for the same amount (we only go camping Wales).

Thanks - will ponder over a cup of tea.

no. not worth money, saw it at imax, £8 a ticket and not worth that. DS (8) disappointed as not many dinosaurs. save your pennies and get a book out of the library!
