Romantic hotel or guest house in Edinburgh...any ideas?

My brain has turned to mush looking at these search engines for too long...help needed

Going to Edinburgh next week (yes last minute, I am not organised!!) to see a show and really need to find somewhere nice to stay for two nights, just me and DH first time in two years....something that won't break the bank and that has parking nearby...we will drive down and then walk/ bus/taxi round town if need be!

Any ideas welcome...or we might end up sleeping in the car! thanks!

fg am gutted to have missed an mn thread searching for me, must be a first. We have tickets for Hyde Park, dh also got a ticket for Dublin but when we got the London tickets I we decided it would work out too expensive (we're doing a weekend in London)so are selling the ticket. However dh is now hoping for an English stadium to be announced or to go to Hampden (way cheaper than Dublin in terms of transport accommodation etc).

Think I will stick with London and try for another pit experience on the next tour
