Thinking of travelling to the south of France this May with 7 & 5 year old, and would be 7 months pregnant at the time. Anyone done this? Would love to hear your views...

Yes, we have - only with one child plus bump though.

Assuming you are happy with the cost, which is quite expensive, it is a good way to travel.

One tip I have is to take your own stash of food. There was nothing in the Motorail part of Calais station, and no food service on the train. I did have a stash for myself - but had to share it with DH and DS.

Yes, absolutely. It's good, but take all the food you will need. Very few facilities.

Would love to do this too - but is far beyond our budget unfortunately

Yes I did it years ago, pregnant and with two children!

It was fine, the only prob is if you keep needing the loo, have to walk down corridor. Other than that it was very relaxing. You do need to all food. Have looked into doing it again this year but is v expensive (560 pounds each way in August).

Thanks to all for replies! Now if only the booking line would ever pick up the phone...
