Playa Bastian Complex in CostaTeguise - not sure whether to book now help needed!

I have managed to find a 2 bed apartment in the Playa Bastian Complex for the first week of Easter and was/is keen to book but then started to read up on Costa Teguise and not really sure its our 'thing', as Playa Blanca sounds really nice and not as touristy, and built up - are there any Mumsnetters who live in Lanzarote who could advise? I would like a similar property self catering, shared pool but in Playa Blanca though!!!

Just back from teguise....4th time there. Pople do go on about Playa Blanca being nicer...but cant really see it myself. All of the main resorts are a bit pizza restaurants...but the isalnd has so much to offer...really worth getting a car and travelling....we went to the most beautiful deserted beaches on the north coast....but Playa Bastian is the least nice part of Teguise
