Where to have Sunday lunch in Brighton

I'm going to visit my sister in Brighton with dh and dc 2 and 4yrs. Where would be good to have a sit down meal. Not too pricey, where children would be welcome. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. TIA

The Regency on the seafront on the corner of Regency Square. They specialise in seafood, but do all sorts of other stuff too. Its big, brilliant food, lovely staff who are great with children, and very reasonably priced. We go there a lot for long relaxed lunches. It is also a short walk to the pirate's playground for an after lunch run around.

You'll need to book, because it's really popular for sunday lunch.

Hi

Sorry to hijack your thread but have you seen this?

Mamma somethings soul food shack- can't remember the name- but we had a lovely lunch there- live music, bowls of food for the children to pick from like macaroni cheese and chicken wings. Momma Cherry's? Just off the sea front round the back of the Thistle Hotel, opposite the town hall I think.
Lived there for three years- why is my memory so crap?

We always like Frankie & Bennys at the marina. Children get given a bag with coloured crayons and a puzzle book when you go in, so they have something to do whilst waiting too. Food is good there and reasonable too. Parking is free in the multi-storey.
