Going to Munich with a baby & 3yr old, any good tips on what to do there for kids.

We are going to Munich for 5 days on the 1st march then to Germisch for the weekend of that week. During the week DH will be working as he is on a client site there and we are tagging along? Has anyone got any good tips on small child stuff to do in Munich? And places if any to avoid with children?

I live just outside Munich. The zoo is amazing. So much to do. If you want to try the traditional beerhall experience go to the Hofbrauhaus. No smoking of course, easy food for kids, usually a brass band playing and they don't mi d kids jumping up and down and dancing on the benches! If the weather is good then go to the Englishergarten to let your 3yo runandrunandrun! A beautiful enormous park with great places to eat, playgrounds etc.

Thanks loads for that TQO that is really helpful esp about the Hofbrauhaus. DH has been there as he has already been over once for work so he was pleased to hear that kids would be welcome. My ds1 will love the dancing on the table bit.
