easyjet - can you check a carseat for free?

that's it really. DS is 3. Still in a standard forward facing carseat. nothing about this on easyjet website. do we have to pay to check it, or is it free?

scroll down here to section 13 about babies & children - you can take a carseat onto the plane to use in the aircraft seat apparently.

Not sure about a free buggy though if you want to take one of those as well.

you can take a buggy up to the plane then it goes into the hold & you don't get charged.

Ah, just noticed that you said DS is 3, I thought you said nearly 3 - you can take a carseat on to the plane for ages 2-3, but not for 3+ apparently, so if you want to take it as baggage you may well be charged by weight

We flew with Easyjet in the summer and they took the car seat and buggy without question.

We took carseat, booster seat for older dd,travel cot (checked in with suitcases),buggy(in hold - fold up just before boarding) all at no charge.
