checking in a pram

Travelling for the first time with my 5 week old and his Bugaboo. Any tips on how to check it in and if I can take it to the aircradt side??

You will probably be able to take it to the plane but you won't get it until luggage return on the other side. So I would take a sling to carry him in. Actually have just seen that he is only 5 weeks - would check in the bugaboo when you check in your bags (they will send you to special 'weirdly shaped items' queue) and take the baby in a sling - they're a bloody pita when you go through security
