We are potentially going to be moved to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and I wanted to know more about what life is like there.

Saudi I know is quite restrictive (women can't drive, must wear an abaya, separate queues for men and women at fast food outlets) but I wanted to be able to prepare myself. Also, I wonder what it would be like for the children. Anyone who has any information, I would appreciate it.
