Dd is 2 this week and want to take her out somewhere different. This has been recommended but just wondered if anyone here had been and thought it was a good day out? I'm 37 weeks pg with dc2 so want somewhere that I can not do too much, don't mind the walking around though.
Thanks!

My brother and his wife has taken his two there, and they had a great time -they've been many times!

yes - I live in the same county have been once and wouldnt go again...very dated, grotty rides, pre-recorded voices on rides that are old and grainy. You would have to go on the rides. Mainly all outdoors

Food areas very scruffy - however my Lo loved the place. Went in the Summer so kids could run ahead etc..

If you want something around Nottinghamshire I could recommend:

Ferry Farm at Hoveringham
Twin Lakes Melton
Whitepost Farm is grotty dont do there

or Weve been to Thomasland at Drayton Manor and it was fantastic...brand new, rides for the very young, lovely indoor play area...from Nottm it was an hours drive

I agree with dietqueen that it's dated and abit scruffy but have to say that ds and his friend didn't seem to notice and had a fantastic day. Agree Thomasland is so much better but don't think you could get away with not doing much yourself there though plenty of nice rides for toddlers. My ds (3)went last summer and still talks about it.
