Hi does anyone have any recommendations for family friendly accommodation in Ireland pls? Somewhere accessible from Dublin (but probably not in the City itself)
Planning to go there in March....
Thanks for any help!

Oh, I love Dublin for a weekend getaway. Why not stay in the city itself? Transport in and out of the city is not great. But, if you want to be away from Hustle and bustle, might try somewhere in Ballsbridge.

Hey, how far away from Dublin are you happy being and would you like coast/mountains ro not fussed?

I had friends over visiting when I was nannying out there and we stayed here: www.oldrectoryemo.com/ Ingrid and Wilfred are SO friendly and love children! About 1hrs drive to Dublin centre, straight down the N7 which is 5 mins drive from house. Also gives very easy access to Kilkenny, Athlone etc. We visited the places mentioned before along with Galway and Cliffs of Moher.

Hope that helps.

Claire
