Hi,

I am thinking of getting a ready bed to help with sleepovers and was wondering how heavy they are as this information isn't available for the ones I have been looking at eg those on GLTC website. Later in the year we are going abroad and may need to supply bedding for DS2 (6) for part of the trip and so I was wondering if anyone has packed a ready bed in their suitcase before? Or would I be better with a cheap Lilo type thing and sheet?

TIA

Are you going somewhere hot? you could take a blow up mattress/lilo and a silk sleeping bag if so.

my ready bed for my DD is one of the smallest junior ones (they come in different sizes dont they?)

Well she's 2 and nearly grown out of it as she's so long BUT mine certainly wouldnt fit well in a suitcase, (I have just tried for you) it's very bulky and doesnt compact well -

you'd be better off with a lilo (IMO) maybe buy one out there?

Thanks both of you. OK, I won't worry about compactability when I get the ready bed and will get a lilo nearer the time if needs be. Was just a thought...
