Hotels in Liverpool ?

Anyone know any nice hotels in Liverpool for a weekend stay - preferably with spa facilities as girlie weekend ?????

Stayed here a few years ago. Was very lovely, nice food, nice little cocktail bar. Bit expensive but worth it for a treat.

we stayed at the crown plaza which was good and had a pool and a health club. Very central for shopping, restaurants and bars.

Am I too late for this? The Premier Inn at Albert Dock is rated the best hotel to stay at in Liverpool, v. cheap, lovely rooms and really close to the museums and galleries, just a short walk from the new shops and really lovely. have a look on Tripadviser for reviews.
