en famille or just you two?

For my DH's 30th, I arranged for him to go paintballing (which he loves) and it was a complete surprise - about 20 of his friends went with him and he had a whale of a time. It was pre-DS, so we also stayed in a hotel. That's also why this isn't a very child-friendly idea - sorry!!

could be just us two but quite happy to take dd-2 1/2 as well.

My DP is 40 on Friday and we're going here for the weekend:

He has no idea, it's a complete surprise.

My brother and his family took me there for my 40th - it is absolutely exquisite, I can't begin to explain just how lovely it really is. Myra Powell is the lady that owns this house, she is so nice and is willing to do anything to make your stay exactly as you want it.

We are going with our DD who is 16 months, really cant wait, it's just delightful - check out the web site and see what you think.

I can't recommend it highly enough. It's one of the places you think that no-one can ever find you there and you dont want to emerge from.

I guarantee you a very happy time. .

It really is - I've been to some pretty nice places in my time but this has to be one of THE most lovely.
