Hi, we are travelling to Turkey & wondering if we ashould take Euro's or Lira currency? or maybe both?

Unless you're heading out somewhere remote to start with, I would just take enough lira for your immediate needs. The exchange rate is always better in Turkey. Absolutely best rate is obtained by withdrawing at a teller using a Nationwide Flex account. Euros only really used where the cruise ships dock. Have a great time.

Turkey has changed their money so any old notes need to be spent as they are not valid after Dec 31st 2009.
