Drinking water

What do I do for a 7 month old?

Water from home not allowed through security.

He's not allowed mineral water.

Where can I get drinking water - don't really want to get it from a bathroom either.

You can take containers of less than 100ml through, how much is he really likely to drink in transit. Bottled water will be ok in small amounts and evian is even recommended in Europe to make up bottles due to lower sodium

We're longhaul so I'd want to take about a full Dr Browns 8 oz bottle with me so wouldn't get that through. Might see if a restaurant at the airport in London will give me it.

Why is he not allowed mineral water?

Nagapie · 28/01/2009 16:21

IIRC formuka milk is okay as long as you take a sip from it

Simplysally · 28/01/2009 16:23

Get a drink in the airside bar and ask for a large glass of tap water at the same time to decant into your own container or get a few bottles smaller than 100ml to get through.

Nagapie · 28/01/2009 16:26

hope this works

Lulumama · 28/01/2009 16:28

why can;t you buy water airside or on the plane? evian etc ok for babies?

surely he is going to only need milk?

and you can take formula

inscotland · 28/01/2009 19:07

I've been told that mineral water is a big no no for babies - am I wrong? He drinks water with his meals.
