Hotel Esplendido in Soller, Mallorca

Anyone recommend this hotel and if so did you book a package or hotel and seperate flights? Last time we did that it was awaful, delay of 8 hours. Want to fly from stansted or ideally norwich. All the recommendations I've read so far are good.

Hi - stayed at this hotel a couple of years ago just after it opened. It was fantastic and would go back anytime. It was before I had my ds but there were lots of couples with young babies there. Very relaxing, great buffet breakfast, lovely pool area with plenty of shade, nice boutique-y hotel. I would go back anytime if I could afford it! If you can, get one of the rooms with a sea view and a large balcony. We went directly to the hotel and got easyjet flights so can't compare that to package, sorry.

we stayed last year, we booked easy jet then the horel itself. they were fully booked the whole summer holidays as we wanted to take dd back with us and they had no rooms so book early.
we did find it difficult to get a space around the small pools, they are built on terraces.they do have a private piece of the beach but you had to get up early to get a bed

it was really expensive for food drink last year because of the euro, god knows what its like this year so make sure you have fat wallets.

i wouldnt go back in an instant because of lack of outside space , thats when its full. would consider it out of term time though.

the majority of guests were scandanavian and all looked like models, male and female.make sure you have your funkiest outfits on.
