Safe travel agent that won't go belly up

Am trying to book a holiday but am worried we will pay money then travel agents will go belly up and we will be left with nothing. I know you can claim it back if you pay with a credit card, but I only have electron.
Any suggestions for a safer bet?

Gosh, is there such a thing at the moment. What about Lastminute or Expedia?

look at atol and abta protection on holidays only not purely flights they are wnderwritten by the caa which is a governement body that will refund you your money if the travel agent goes belly up
