Icandy on long haul flight

Does anyone know if you can take an icandy pram on a long haul flight? We are off to Australia and I love my icandy (along the same vein as a bugaboo) and would love to take it but I am worried it could get damaged on the flight. Also, it's not as small as a stroller and just wondering if I should buy one of them for this purpose???

Would hate to get to the airport only for them to turn around and say we can't take it!!

they will make you put it in hold.they are bulky if you travel with it buy a case because baggage handlers will chuck it around and from heights too.used to have icandy apple and its not light or small pram at all

i wouldnt take unless in a case something like bugaboo travel case

personally i have cameleon but travel with zapp as can take on as hand luggage (folds tiny)

i would buy small stroller and a travel bag

what are you planning on doing in aus? i just remember a friend saying she wished she hadnt bothered taking buggy as it was useless trying to push on sand so maybe a stroller would be more practical

I wouldn't take it, tbh.

When we came here in 2005 for a holiday we brought a really basic Bruin [Toys R Us] buggy & the locking clip was broken. Not a huge issue as only 30gbp.

Thye do throw them around, so if I was you I think really carefully about it.

We flew to Australia with an Icandy Cherry (we took the Maxi Cosi car seat as the seat) and it was fine. It's smaller than the Apple, though.
