Anyone been to Minneapolis with a toddler?

Travelling to Minneapolis to visit a friend in May - has anyone been there? If so, do you have any top tips - places to go/eat/stay etc?

Went to Minneapolis a few years back and had a fab time.

Would strongly suggest you visit the Mall of America - wear comfortable shoes as you will do a lot of walking!!.

The neighbouring city of St Paul is also worth a visit, you could go to see Minnehaha Falls.

I'm sure your friend could also come up with plenty of ideas as well.

May great time - no mozzies. Is tornado season though so watch it! Can be very hot too.

Minneapolis is full of lakes and parks, lovely for walking in. (We lived there for a year, but 1979-80 so not very up-to-date on things to do )

Bit of a tourist guide . There is a zoo there apparently (I didn't know that!)
