there is a group of about eight of us,who have finally got it together to meet up after a quite a wee while..all women(dont know why that matters?)..a couple of five yr olds, couple of three yr olds,my divine toddler and a proper baby.

i'd like somewhere enclosed, dry and pleasant...perhaps with some refreshment? sounds simple enough!

oh and it's day time obviously...any one?

We're only occasional visitors to London but often end up at the Royal Festival Hall - loads of space for the kids to tear around, a bar to keep everyone happy and sometimes freebie entertainment or exhibitions on.

There's a small play park just down the road from Festial Hall too - and Pizza Express is opposite.

yes royal festival hall is fab
otherwise science museum cafe and take turns to take the children to the basement

If it's a dry day you can walk along the river from Festival Hall to the Tate Modern.
Just for the Turbine Hall giant slope that children just love??!!?? Have walked this many times with friends, kids, DH etc.. Cafes and restaurants along most of the route.
