Can anyone recommend a nice coastal town to stay in?
We're spending a week in San Guiliano, between Lucca and Pisa. The week before DH and I will be spending with my parents and 2 yr old DD and we're looking for a decent-sized town with a beach, sandy if poss.
I've heard Sestri Levante is nice, but would like other places to consider.
The other option is flying to Nice and spending a week there before getting the train to Pisa. I quite fancy Nice but not sure about the 5.5 hr train journey with a 2 yr old.
