Any thoughts please, good or bad? Am thinking of POSSIBLY booking for early Feb, no children, but a friend and me.

Yes, - bad food poisoning... loved the sights/sounds/etc but BAD and I mean BAD food poisoning and most of the boat too.... [shuffles off feeling nauseous thinking about it]...

Dh and did before children.
was fab for sightseeing and the airconditioning on the boat was a godsend as we went in july which is the hottest time to go (stupid but was v cheap!) loved the history, everyone got food poisoning -from the money apparently you get it even if you avoid the water.

Was amazed you could just walk up to the history and touch it especially in the valley of the kings as it was underground and looked like they'd just finished painting it.

Oh thanks ladies - have to say the idea of food poisoning has put me off a bit! (I had gastric flu before Cmas, can't face more of the same/similar!) Have booked Egypt hol, but ner Israeli border. Hope to go to Petra. Will be careful with germs from money!

Feel sad to miss the Nile sightseeing thouh....
