Denmark - family cycling holiday, any experiences? will have baby and toddler by summer

Hi,

Has anyone got experience of Danish summer holidays with family? By August we will have a 20 month old and a 5 months old. We like cycling - obviously touring from place to place is out - but we'd like to go somewhere near beaches but v cycle-friendly where we can hire bikes, trailers, toddler-seats etc.

I've heard Funen is nice...can anyone recommend a good place to stay for a couple of weeks in the summer?

We are also considering Denmark for Summer. North Jutland is supposed to be beautiful - Skagen is lovely and we are thinking about "Skallerup Klit" for a week, travelling around for the rest of the time.
