Normally go out with MIL EVERY Sunday. This week however I have lost the plot because of stress and am now suffering from Lazy Bastard Itis. It is incredibly windy here and very wet and cold. I am meeting my best friend at 3pm so what can I do with MIL. TBH I want to get the paints out and leave the kids to it but I cant becuase I feel it is the only time MIL sees the kids (its not but I feel like it is). HELP!!!

More info please!! Why are you out with MIL every Sunday and do you have a DH? Where do you live? Are you seeing BF with MIL or does one come after other? Does it have to be an outing as such or can it being something at her / your house? Is it with your DCs too? Will a walk in local park / duck feeding / cuppa in a cafe suffice?!

Hi, my bf wasnt well so I didnt see her. We went to the local farm and saw the animals, played in the soft play and had lunch. Then came home when the snow started and make crispie cakes. Was a good day but I still feel totally stressed by life, at least the weekend is out of the way again.

Thanks all for replying.

BTW, I go out with MIL every sunday and I do have a dh but he golfs with his friends on a sunday,

And when do you get 'me time' equivalent to a weekly round of golf singyswife?! I'm with you on the stressed front - and my DH plays golf and squash - but I've had enough of stressed and moody in 2009 and am now doing something for me every bluddy week whether DH likes it or not. Last week I went for a lengthy coffee and chat with a friend and this week I'm going to the cinema. Way tooooooooo much MIL time in your week!!

I am totally stressed at the moment. Am having panic attacks, nervous all the time ( is a sign of stress with me). Cant seem to get motivated although last night I dragged myself along to my second salsa class and really enjoyed it. Am going swimming with my mum tomorrow afternoon (this is me trying to get fit in 09). Had lunch with MIL and SIL today. It's not all bad.
