And how to find them! I'm looking for a cottage to rent from 19th Feb for a few days, there will be 3 adults, 2 children and one dog....
Have spent ages googling but haven't come up with anything!!!! Have found a few places but i want something within the Forest, pref in a village (trying to show hubby what life could be like!) with a little pub nearby.

Any names of places or websites (or anything really!!!) would be great.

TIA x

Brockenhurst and Lymington are nicest towns and I can recommend some great places when you are there for things to do and places to eat.

God go to sandy balls. My( very discerning) sister went there and loved it.
Very White stuff, pool, river to paddle in etc

The Rose and Crown Pub in Brockenhurst does nice food (we've only stopped for lunch - but it was good and loads of room for the kids to run around). There are loads of lovely cafe's and bistro's in Lymington on the high street - and we had a really nice breakfast in The Vanilla Pod Cafe - all local produce.

There is a terrific bakers in Brockenhurst (there are two, one is french) but the other one opposite the french bakers, can't remember the name, is fab - we go in the morning and get sandwiches made up for the day to take out - and don't forget their iced buns - to DIE FOR!!!!!!

Have a lovely break

Iced buns....Will stick notes in the car to remind me. Can't be missing out on them!!!!
