Vilabranca apartments in Lagos. Check them out on trip advisor. Self catering, two pools, on site bar and restaurant.

Thomson do them, but we booked independently through holidaylettings.co.uk.

Lovely resort, very quaint streets and shops. Loads of places to eat. Fab beaches, but sea cold as Atlantic Ocean!!!

We have been there three times, last time kids were 3 and 1.

We went to Villamoura with a 1 year old and wouldn't really recommend. However, Albufeira was lovely and would really suggest there as a base

Cascais is nice (Atlantic coast) and half an hour from Lisbon.

Try villa bicuda in Cascais. Near the beach (smaller swimming beaches in the town), nice restaurants. Self catering mini village with little coffee shop, pizza restaurant, super market, 2 pools and a playground. Easy to get to Lisbon to have a look round, Sintra close too which is beautiful. very child friendly, will provide high chairs, cots etc.

Not sure of web address but google it and it will come up.
